The Center for Language Development (CDC) of State Islamic University (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is an organizational unit of the university which focuses on language development and language services. The center primarily aims at fostering the development of foreign language proficiency of students, teachers, and employees, and 2) offering professional foreign language services to its cooperative partners and the general public.

The Center offers various language training programs, such as general English courses, business English courses, Arabic courses, Indonesian for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) courses, and preparation programs for standardized tests such as the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), and the Test of Arabic as a Foreign Language (TOAFL). Additionally, the Center also runs customized language training programs for corporate purposes, such as English language training for companies or organizations. Furthermore, the center provides translation services of English, Arabic, and Indonesian for various written documents including project reports, research reports, legal documents, article abstracts, journal articles, subtitles, etc.
